Equipment & Business Brokers (NEBB) Institute is the only nationally
recognized institute offering training and support in machinery/equipment
brokerage/appraisal. Industry veterans with more than 25 years of
technical experience conduct all training seminars.
After
completing the machinery/equipment training each broker/appraiser
receives the Professional designation of CMEA, CERTIFIED MACHINERY/EQUIPMENT
APPRAISER. The Haley Group has two professionals with this designation
in house.
The
National Equipment and Business Broker Institute was founded by
John R. Harris who holds a Master of Business Administration
Degree and has over 25 years of counseling experience. His
offices are in
the Hillcrest Financial Center, 7701 E. Kellogg, Wichita, Kansas.
He has owned several successful businesses.
Mr.
Harris has operated both nationally and internationally in appraisal
and brokerage
with offices in Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma,
Ohio, North
Carolina, California, Colorado and Canada under his direction.
He had been a member of the World Trade Center having performed
appraisal
and consulting services for the Mexican and Venezuelan governments
in Central and South America. He has also served as a consultant
for large U.S. companies including Ford Motor Company, General
Motors, General Electric, Pizza Hut Corporation, U.S. Air
Force, Boeing,
Cessna Aircraft, and U.S. Navy.
Currently,
Mr. Harris teaches appraisal technique in business and machinery/equipment
for several
national firms. He serves
nationally
as an arbitrator in business disputes for the American
Arbitration Association.
Mr.
Harris is a member of the Institute of Certified Business Counselors
and the Institute of Business
Appraisers. Mr.
Harris is a tested
and certified Senior Member of the American Society of
Appraisers in the field of Machinery/Equipment & Technical
Specialties and is authorized to use the professional
designation A.S.A., indicating
Accredited Senior Appraiser. He holds a general appraiser's
license in several states.
John
Harris is a licensed real estate broker in various states. In Kansas,
he has been
approved as an instructor
for the
Kansas Real
Estate Commission to teach continuing education courses
on the subject of Business Sales and Evaluation. He
is a frequent
guest
speaker
to C.P.A., attorney, and other business groups. He
provides expert court testimony at the District and Federal Court
levels when
called upon to do so. He has personally sold in a brokerage
capacity over
350 businesses and thousands of machinery/equipment items. |
